The Muleshoe Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is a department within the City of Muleshoe designed to provide a range of business and economic development assistance, including financial and non-financial assistance, based upon business' needs. The MEDC is governed by a seven-member board. Board members are appointed by the City of Muleshoe City Council and serve a two-year term. The MEDC works collaboratively with other departments of the City of Muleshoe and with the Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.
